ISE equities fail to show healthy signs

Equities failed to show healthy signs on Thursday at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where selling-pressure in hot favourite moved the entire ready-board in downward direction amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 16.76 points, as the index moved from 2,754.65 to 2,737.89 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 34,66,300 shares as compared to previous volume of 39,16,600 shares. The horizon of trade expanded from 133 stocks to 137 companies. Majority of stocks (75) landed in minus column, 59 closed in positive territory, whereas three companies remained pegged to their previous levels.
The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim was 524,500 shares. The turnover of OGDCL 505,900 shares. The volume of DG Khan Cement was 280,700 shares.
