The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday taking objection over the government's application for constituting a full court bench to hear Presidential Reference against the chief justice and rejected the same.
Aaj news channel, quoting sources said that the applications filed by the federal government and the president were without affidavits. The chief justice had challenged the presidential reference. A five-member bench, headed by Justice Javed Batter was formed to hear the application of the chief justice, and other related applications, which would conduct proceedings regularly from Monday.
