Downward trend was seen on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Friday following reports of fresh arrivals, dealers said. The May vaida commenced with 40 paisa gain at Rs 647.00 and that proved to be day's best at the same level. Later it lost Rs 2.00 to be day's lowest at Rs 645.00 and market settled at the same level, they said.
The July vaida opened with Re.1 loss at Rs 667.00. In process of trading it gained Rs 4.00 to be day's highest at Rs 671.00. Later, it lost Rs 3.20 paisa to be day's lowest at Rs 667.80 and closing was seen at the same level, they said.
