It is indeed a great opportunity to wish the Polish people on the occasion of their independence day. Pakistan-Poland Friendship Association was founded last year to provide a platform for strengthening the friendship between Pakistan and Polish people.
Since it has become mandatory to consider developing cultural relations with other countries as activities of Prime importance and basic needs in friendship that aims and objects of the nation's policy in the international sphere.
The foundation of Pakistan - Poland Friendship Association was laid with a vision that this association will help in promoting all cultural and artistic activities from both sides and to bring people of both countries more closer to each other. Pakistan and Poland enjoy strong trade relations with each other as the volume has almost doubled in the last two years and stands at $135 million in 2005 with balance of trade in favour of Pakistan.
I would also like to compliment and appreciate the efforts of Mr Ireneusz Makles in providing the opportunities to build better environment for growing cord a relation. His efforts will go a long way to improve better and smoothing relations between Poland and Pakistan.
I wish the Polish government and people a very happy and jubilant 216th anniversary of the Proclamation of May 3rd constitution May Allah almighty be with us in our endeavours. Ameen.
