Pakistan on Saturday expressed its deep sadness and sense of shock over the passing away of Prince Abdul Majeed Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Al Mukarramah and condoled with the government and people of Saudi Arabia.
President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz have sent special condolence messages to Khadim Al Harmain Al Sharifain, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.
President Musharraf in his message said, "It is with deep sadness and sense of shock that we have learnt about the passing away of our brother Prince Abdul Majeed Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah. He was a distinguished son of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia." The President prayed to Allah Almighty to grant eternal peace to his soul and grant his family and the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the fortitude to bear this loss.
