The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FPCCI) has clarified that the views expressed and decision taken at the meeting regarding all Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma) were personal opinions of participants and it does not reflect the FPCCI point of view.
A press release issued here on Friday stated that a meeting of the FPCCI Textile Ancillary Zonal Committee was held in Lahore on May 3 under the chairmanship of Adil Mehmood.
The views expressed and the decisions taken in the meeting regarding Aptma were the personal views of the participants and, in no way, reflected the views of the FPCCI, said the release.
It said the FPCCI respected the identity of its member bodies and never subscribed to division amongst the rank and file of any trade body. However, it was the democratic right of any individual or a group of individuals to express their opinion, but the difference of opinion should be bridged through dialogue only.-PR
