Punjab Health Centre organised a symposium on 'metabolic syndrome' here on Saturday where doctors and consultants from different government and private organisation presented their research papers.
Professor of Cardiology Sheikh Zyed Hospital Dr Soulat Siddique delivered a detailed presentation on 'chronic stable angine' in which he elaborated the disease related to heart and their treatment. Renowned consultant Endocrinologist Dr Sayed Abbas Raza presented his lecture on diabetes and highlighted the latest research in this regard.
He stressed upon the timely treatment of diabetes. Associate Professor Sheikh Zyed Hospital Dr Aizaz Mand Ahmad delivered lecture on 'treatment of hypertension' in chronic kidney disease and briefed about the diseases of blood pressure and kidney.
