The Punjab government would soon establish a garment training institution and a textile laboratory here under the supervision of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) for providing the skilled labour to value-added garment industry, besides ensuring the maximum participation of the skilled women labour force in the export-oriented industry of garments.
Which is earning foreign exchange to the tune of rupees eight billion. Punjab Minister for Industries and Investment Muhammad Ajmal Cheema disclosed this while talking to the newsmen here on Saturday.
