08 May, 2007

Singapore bunker prices fell on Monday, while the differential to fuel oil values fell to a discount of $2-$3, as suppliers continued to sell below cargo prices amid thin demand, traders said.
Prices for 380-centistoke (cst) bunker fuel were pegged at $336-$338 a tonne, down $5, while its differential to fuel oil cargoes stood at a discount of $2.13 versus $1.95 on Friday. "Suppliers still do not want to hold onto their supplies, made worse by falling crude," a Singapore-based bunker trader said. Ex-wharf prices were heard offered at $343-$345 a tonne, traders said.
