Uzbek team meets minister

Provincial Minister for Industries, Muhammad Ajmal Cheema has said that the investors of Pakistan and Uzbekistan would start joint venture in leather sector investment and the volume of trade between two countries would be enhanced in all sectors of the economy.
He expressed these views while talking to a 7-member delegation headed by Obek Arif Usmanof, ambassador of Uzbekistan in Pakistan, and Iskandar Attanof, chairman Leather Association of Uzbekistan who called on him here on Wednesday.
The minister said that Pakistan and Uzbekistan were sharing historical and brotherly relations, which would further be cemented in near future. He said that investors of Uzbekistan should come forward and avail the opportunities being given to foreign investors by Pakistan especially in Punjab.
He said that Pakistan and Uzbek trade delegations would soon exchange visits and both countries would arrange single-country exhibitions, which would be very helpful for increasing bilateral trade. He said that Leather Association of Pakistan would soon visit Uzbekistan. Later, the minister hosted a reception in the honour of trade delegation.
