BRIndex30 gains 51.65 points

On Friday, the BRIndex30 opened in the negative zone, at 13,417.16, but soon went to positive zone, and remained there for the rest of the trading time, closing at 13,512.43, registering a positive change of 51.65 points and percentage change of 0.38 with intra-day high of 13,547.92 and low of 13,363.81 points.
The volume amounted to 150,078,100 shares, which was 68.23 percent of market total and 84.48 percent of KSE-100 index. The volumes of KSE All Share and KSE-100 were 219,929,740 and 177,660,040 shares, respectively.
BR Commercial Banks Index was the most active sector. It closed at 5,514.69 with a net positive change of 7.68 points and percentage change of 0.14. The turnover for this sector was 39,784,800 shares.
BR Oil and Gas Index was the second most active sector. It closed at 2,138.47 with a net positive change of 8.3 points and percentage change of 0.39. The volume was 27,720,800 shares. BR Cement Index was the third most active sector. It closed at 1,651.00 with a net negative change of -6.86 points and percentage change of -0.41. The volume was 22,848,000 shares.
BR Tech. & Comm. Index closed at 1,616.45 with a net downward change of -20.87 points and percentage change of -1.27. The volume of this sector was 19,283,900 shares. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,473.67 with an upward change of 2.52 points and percentage change of 0.17. The turnover for this sector was 10,268,000 shares, which was again the lowest among BR Indices.
