Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) and Coventry University, UK, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for future collaboration between the two in BS and MS programmes of Civil engineering.
Acting Vice Chancellor of SSUET Engineer Muhammad Zakir Ali Khan and Professor Farrukh Aslam signed the MoU on behalf of their respective universities. According to the MoU, the students of SSUET, pursuing degree courses, will get credit hours facility involving first two years study at the SSUET and subsequent two years in Coventry University, UK.
On completion of four-year course, the students will be awarded Coventry University degree. For Masters in Civil engineering, one-third of the course will be at the SSUET and the balance at Coventry University. The MoU also covers collaboration at research level, faculty sharing, lectures through videoconference and capacity building of faculty.
