Pakistan team completely fit, hopeful to gain confidence: Shoaib

All members of Pakistan cricket team are completely fit and hopefully the team would give its best performance in the series against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi series. This was stated by skipper of Pakistan cricket team Shoaib Malik while addressing a news conference here on Wednesday at the end of training camp at Gaddafi Stadium.
Shoaib Malik maintained that morale of all the players is high and the team would give good results in the series. However, he said that fielding would play an essential role in this series. To a question, Shoaib said absence of coach had created some problems at the start of the camp but the senior players cooperated and guided the junior players.
Manager Talat Ali supervised the camp in a professional manner while Wasim Akram's tips also benefited the players during the camp, he added. He further said that players worked hard during the camp and hopefully they will come up to expectations of nation.
Pakistan cricket team Manager Talat Ali said on the occasion that players including Vice Captain Muhammad Asif are completely fit. During the camp, players put extra efforts in fielding and fitness departments and team would show better performance in these two departments, he added. He was of the view that the upcoming series is important for Pakistan because it will help the players to gain confidence.
