Mixed trend was seen on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Wednesday as buyers were active to meet their near-term demand, dealers said. The May vaida opened Rs 2.00 down at Rs 643.50 and that proved to be day's lowest at the same level.
In process of trading it gained the same amount to be day's best at Rs 645.50 and market settled at the same level, they said. The July vaida commenced with Re.1 gain at Rs 668.00. Later, it gained 50 paisa to be day's highest at Rs 668.50 and closing was seen at the same level. During the day it shed Rs 1.50 to be day's bottom at Rs 667.00, they said.
