President summons NSC meeting on June 4

President General Pervez Musharraf has summoned the meeting of National Security Council on June 4. The meeting will discuss the law and order situation in the country. Invitations have been issued to all members of the Council, including Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman.
Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao was invited on the special invitation, who will brief the NSC members on law and order situation and the recent terrorist attacks in different parts of the country. The meeting will be attended by Senate Chairman Muhammadmian Soomro, National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain, chief ministers of the four provinces and three services chiefs.
It may be mentioned here that earlier Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman had always shown his inability to attend the meeting, but the NWFP Chief Minister attended several sessions of NSC.
