Pace of uplift work reviewed

Punjab Tourism Minister has said that new roads should be constructed in accordance with the traffic plans and keeping in mind the growing traffic in the province. He expressed these views while chairing a meeting that reviewed the pace of development work in the city here on Thursday.
Nazims and TEPA officials were also present in the meeting. He observed that load of traffic on small roads had increased, thus such factors should be kept in consideration while constructing new roads. He directed the participants for completion of on-going development projects as soon as possible and assured the quality of work.
The meeting was told that many big and small roads were being built at Icchra and Samanabad at the cost of Rs 100 million and steps were being taken for the completion of this project on time.
