Four drug traffickers nabbed

The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) in two different operations arrested four smugglers, including one lady smuggler and two foreigners and recovered 9.5 kilogram heroin from their possession.
The ANF Regional Director, Brigadier Asif Alvi, disclosed this during a briefing at regional headquarters here on Thursday. He said that the ANF received information that some international drug smugglers might smuggle huge quantity of drugs abroad. The force promptly responded to information and on checking at Attock Post recovered seven kilograms heroin from the possession of a lady smuggler, Shahgufta of Nowshera.
He said that in another successful operation ANF intercepted a drug carrier Irfan Malik of Sialkot at Islamabad International Airport along with a Nigerian national.
During checking 2.5 kilogram fine quality heroin was recovered from cavities of their luggage. Nigerian national told investigators that he came from Nigeria and stayed in Islamabad along with many other Nigerians. On his identification when the force raided the house only one person Madu was arrested while others managed to escape.
