'Jinnah Hospital Kabul to be built in two months'

The ground breaking ceremony of Pak sponsored 200 bed Jinnah hospital Kabul would be held within a period of two months, Pakistan Ambassador in Afghanistan Tariq Azizuddin said. Three-story Jinnah hospital Kabul to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1,200 million would have modern health facilities.
Pakistan would also construct Jalalabad-Torkham road, he told PTV. Pakistan has allocated $300 million for reconstruction and rehabilitation of Afghanistan. Pakistan exports to Afghanistan are $1.2 billion. More than 90 percent Taliban are doing their operation from Afghanistan to curtail movement of intruders on borders, he said. As many as 1,000 posts have been established along with Pak- Afghan border. Ninty thousands troops have also been deployed along with the border.
The allied forces are set to achieve positive results in Afghanistan within a period of next two years. A formidable Afghan National Army being constituted hopefully it would resolve the Taliban problem.
