Sindh University press to be upgraded

Sindh University press will be upgraded with all required modern machinery and equipment that the press can serve the purpose of printing of University's material within due time. This was decided in meeting on Saturday which was presided over by Vice Chancellor of the University Mazharul Haq Siddiqui.
The meeting was attended by Advisor Planning and Development Muhammad Hussain Shaikh, Director Bureau of Translation and Publication Dr Ali Murtaza Dharejo, Manager University press and others.
The Manager of the press briefed the meeting about availability of the printing machines and their out put. He suggested for purchase of some new machines and repair of the available printing machines for required out put towards printing work of the University within shortest possible time.
He pointed out that the machines available in the University press are functional as well as fulfilling job of the University however, the new machines would enhance the performance of the printing press. Director Bureau of the Translation and Publication suggested that printing work of the bureau would be possible with up gradation of the printing press.
He pointed out that bureau has completed translation of the 14 manuscripts of different books which are ready for the printing. He said that in PC-I of the Bureau they already mentioned new printing machines. The Advisor Planning and Development University of Sindh in his report informed that the PC-I submitted by the Bureau would be submitted to Higher Education Commission (HEC).
He also reported that HEC in its recent meeting held in Islamabad which was attended by him was appreciated the construction work funded by HEC at the University.
