Balochistan Assembly on Saturday passed a condemnation and condolence resolution on Karachi carnage and suicide bomb blast in Peshawar and called for ban on the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
The resolution was moved by Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) MPAs Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Sardar Azam Musakhail, Abdul Majeed Achakzai, Mohtarma Spozmai and Sameena Saeed of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal.
Sardar Azam Musakhail speaking on the admissibility of the resolution said that MQM is a fascist organisation and its workers killed innocent people on May 12 when Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry came to Karachi to address the Sindh Bar.
He said that many workers of Pakistan People's Party, Pakistan Muslim League (N), Awami National Party and PMAP were killed by the MQM armed men in the presence of security forces. He said that president and others were behind MQM. He strongly condemned the statement of the General Pervez Musharraf which he delivered during the address of a public rally at Islamabad on May 12 night.
He strongly demanded resignation of the Sindh governor, chief minister and others who kept silence on the mayhem of Karachi. Sameena Saeed said that Pakistan was created on the name of Islam, which is a great preacher of peace, brotherhood and tranquillity. She said that some elements have started destroying the peace and playing with the lives of the innocent people.
She strongly condemned the mayhem of Karachi and said that MQM was left to play with the lives of the people.
Senior Minister Maulana Wasey speaking on the resolution Pakistan is an ideological country but some elements in the name of nationalist creating anarchy and hatred among the people. He condemned Karachi massacre and Peshawar bomb blast. He supported resolution.
Opposition Leader Kachkol Ali and Rehmat Baloch also flayed the Karachi incident. Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Abdul Rehman Jamali speaking on the resolution said that when genuine rights are not delivered to the masses then such incidents take place.
