Singapore bunker prices eased on Monday, while the differential to fuel oil cargo values inched up although stayed in deep discount for a fourth straight week.
Prices for 380-centistoke (cst) bunker fuel were pegged at $333-$335 a tonne, up $1, while its differential to fuel oil cargoes stood at a discount of $2.45, up $1. "There are some signs that the prompt market is improving as deals are getting done at better numbers. But it's some way from getting back into the black," a Singapore-based trader said.
