Declining trend was again witnessed on the grain market on Monday as supply was enough to meet the buyers' demand, dealers said. On the cereals side makai after maintaining a stable trend for several weeks, shed Rs 25 to Rs 1275-1300.
Juwar lost Rs 50 to Rs 1150-1160, moong Sindh was down by Rs 150 to Rs 3750, masoor Canada fell by Rs 50 to Rs 3350-3500, masoor dal lost Rs 100 to Rs 3800-3900, they said.
Sugar prices shed Rs 25 to Rs 2650-2700 and gur lower type fell sharply by Rs 100 to Rs 2100 and better type did not show any change at Rs 2800, they said. On the seed side Irri white (broken) both types lost Rs 50 to Rs 1375-1400 in process of trading, dealers said. Other types did not move any side due to balanced demand and supply position, they said.
