The High Court of Sindh (SHC) on Tuesday adjourned proceedings till May 23 in a petition challenging disqualification of the plaintiffs/bidders from the Pakistan State Oil (PSO) privatisation process. The counsel representing Privatisation Commission of Pakistan, Barrister Waseem Sajjad, was making arguments when hearing was put off due to paucity of time.
A single bench comprising Justice Mrs Qaiser Iqbal was hearing a Rs 24 billion law suit filed by the Attock Group of Companies (Attock oil consortium), challenging the alleged exclusion of plaintiffs from the bidding of the privatisation process of leading oil marketing firm in the country, PSO.
