Principal Officer of US Consulate in Lahore, Bryan D Hunt visited the shrine of sufi saint, Hazrat Mian Mir here on Wednesday. Punjab Auqaf Minister Syed Saeedul Hassan Shah was also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Bryan D Hunt said that saints of various religions of the world have always preached the message of love, peace and harmony.
He said that it was high time to promote love and peace among the human beings to help stop clash of civilisations, he added. Hunt said that followers of different religions are living jointly with others for many centuries in sub-continent. Earlier, Bryan D Hunt laid floral wreath on the mazar of the Hazrat Mian Mir Sahib. Later, on the invitation of Auqaf minister, he also attended a special mehfil-e-samah.
