POF signs MoU with Turkish Company

Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with one of the prominent Defence Production Companies Makina Ve Kimya Endustrisi Kurumu (Mkek), Ankara (Turkey) to carry forward the political and defence relations and further strengthen the existing bondage.
POF Board Chairman Lieutenant General Syed Sabahat Hussain signed the MoU on behalf of Pakistan and Mkek Board Chairman Director Major General Unal Onsipioglu (retd) signed on behalf of Turkey. Both sides have agreed to co-share the expertise available in Research and Development (R&D), which is in fact an engine for growth. Following is the full text of the MoU:
This letter of understanding is made between POF, located in 47040 Wah Cantt and Mkek, located in 06330 Ankara/Turkey (Hereinafter referred to as "Turkish side)." Whereas POF is engaged in designing, development, production and marketing of a range of small arms and various types of ammo is assigned for R&D to meet the needs of Pakistan Army.
