Indian meat imports down

Indian meat traders have increased the price of beef, after which its imports to Pakistan have considerably decreased. According to importers, Indian meat was cheaper when Pakistan allowed its import, and about 200 tons meat was being imported from India every week, a private TV reported.
However, now as the Indian traders have increased the price of meat, the weekly imports to Pakistan now to about 52 tons. According to the importers, Indian meat was earlier imported at the rate of 1,465 dollars per ton, but now its price has gone up to 1,635 dollars per ton.
