Federal Minister for Privatisation and Investment Zahid Hamid has said that 47.7 percent shares of National Investment Trust (NIT) would be divided into three parts for privatisation. Talking to a private television channel, he said that administration of NIT would be handed over to a party, offering the highest bid.
All necessary steps were being taken for transparent privatisation of NIT, he added.
