Sugarcane will be cultivated over 305000 and cotton over 301000 acres this year in Faisalabad district. District Officer (Agriculture) Chauhdry Ali Ahmad Goraya said that government was concentrating to increase per acre yield of these crops as the agriculture land was reducing gradually with the establishment of new industry and new housing schemes.
