Punjab teachers continue boycott

Teachers continue their boycott against the primary examination throughout the province. The presence of the students remained very low at the examination centers in various cities throughout the province. Most of the parents and the owners of the private schools stopped students from going to examination centers.
Some headmasters and teachers send gift of bangles to the leaders of the Muthahida Mahaz Asataza as a symbol of their cowardice in their handling of the crisis.
Police arrested Malik Allah Dad, Muhammad Munir Sindhu and Allah Rakha Gujar. It is learnt that more than 50 teachers were arrested from the various cities of the province during the last night operations. Chairman, Mutahida Mahaza Asatza, Hafiz Abdul Nasir, Raja Zafeer, Ahmad Satti, Jameel Ahmad Virk, Taj Haider and said in a joint statement that government wanted to sabotage the teachers' protest campaign by various illegal methods but teachers would not retreat, they said.
The successful protest a day before was the clear evidence that teachers were united and firm in their decisions. They would continue their protest and boycott till the acceptance of their demands, they added.
