Rates turn lower on grain market

Modest business was seen on the grain market on Saturday as many buyers were on the sidelines amid balanced demand and supply position, they added. On the grains side wheat old and new both types were lower by Rs 15 at Rs 1185 and Rs 1200 in process of trading, they said.
Beetle chana No 1 low type gained Rs 25 to Rs 2675 while the best type shed the same amount at Rs 2775, beetle 50x50 dropped the same amount at Rs 2475-2625, they said. Sugar inferior type shed Rs 25 to Rs 2625 while the other type did not show any change at Rs 2750 in process of trading, they said.
