Urdu-speaking people urged to join hands against terrorism

28 May, 2007

Chairman, Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party, Dr Qadir Magsi has asked Urdu speaking population of Sindh to join hands with them to force the terrorists to give up arms. He said Muttahida Qaumi Movement was a terrorist organisation, which thrived on sucking blood of innocent people.
He was addressing All Parties Conference on Sunday organised by his party on 'May 12 carnage and its effects' at a local hotel here. The conference was attended by leaders of various parties and leaders, including Mamnoon Hussain former Sindh governor and leader of Muslim League (N), Nisar Ahmed Khuhro of PPP, Senator Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro of Jamiat Ulema Islam, MNA Maulana Asadullah Bhutto, Maulana Azizullah Bohyo of Sindh Sagar Party, Maulana Ubedullah Bhutto of Jamiat Ulema Sindh, Yousuf Leghari, member Pakistan Bar Council, Dr Hayee Baloch, president, Balochistan National Party, Habib Jalib, a Baloch leader, Gul Muhammad Jakhrani, general secretary, Sindh National Front, Haji Asmatullah Mahsood, vice president, ANP Sindh, Nazir Jan Lala of Pukhtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party, Allahwarayo Daheri of National Workers Party, Jam Saqi and others representatives of civil society.
Qadir Magsi said since last 2 days MQM terrorists were roaming streets of Hyderabad despite ban under section 144 and were creating terror so as to foil this conference. He deplored that Sindh government on behest of MQM denied entry to Imran Khan who was the chief guest of this APC.
He said this APC was to expose the real face of terrorists and because Imran had announced to file case against Altaf in London and request the UK government to form medical board to check Altaf Hussain, whom he said was not normal human but a beast.
He said Imran was detained in Lahore for 3 days. He condemned ban on entry of Imran in Sindh for one month. Narrating history of MQM he said late dictator Zia formed it to counter the effects of then MRD. He said we challenged terrorists in streets of Hyderabad, which forced their leader Altaf to run away to London. He expressed surprise that when there was president, prime minister and governor all belonging to MQM then why Altaf still was sitting in London. He termed MQM as more dangerous than Nazi.
They want to push back Sindhis to rural villages and take control of cities as Jews have done with Palestinians. For this purpose they have amassed money and weapons and were slowly implementing their agenda to divide Sindh, he contended.
