PSO to supply LPG through petrol pumps

01 Jun, 2007

Pakistan State Oil (PSO) is making preparations to introduce liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in a big way in the country. This was stated by PSO Managing Director Jalees Ahmed Siddique during a meeting with members of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FPCCI) Standing Committee on Petroleum and Gas held in Federation House, here.
He said the supply of LPG to the retail outlets was less costly than the supply of compressed natural gas (CNG), as it did not require piped network and the equipment to be installed was cheaper. He said the PSO was the market leader whose retail outlets in the country were visited by 2.8 million visitors daily.-PR
