The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has urged the Government of Sindh to take appropriate steps to promote tourism in the province.
In a communication to the government, the chamber has noted that in the modern age, no one needs to be told that tourism holds the golden key for economic development in many countries. Tourism can be made attractive because our products are excellent and could be compared with any in the world.
Sindh has outstanding tourist products, a mix that caters for adventure and culture, deserts, monuments, archaeological sites, history, legend etc. There are fine beaches and lakes in Sindh which are home of unique species of green turtle, unique in the world and have great potential to establish facilities for tourism, recreation and water sports.
