CBR and IBA sign accord

The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) and Institute of Business Administration (IBA) on Monday signed an agreement for capacity building of tax officers. According to a press release issued here stated that the training modules have been specifically designed by the IBA faculty for BPS-17-19 CBR officers and would be covered in total 14 sessions.
The first phase of this programme for Southern Regions of CBR officers (Sindh, Balochistan) had been successfully completed focusing on the areas: computer skills and communication skills; modern management techniques (team building/management skills).
The contract was signed by Muhammad Talha, Member (HRM) and Habib Fakhruddin, Member (TP&R) on behalf of CBR and Danishmand, dean/director on behalf of the IBA. The training and development is critical part of CBR's ongoing reform process, the HRM Wing has now entered in final phase of capacity building programme for BPS-17-19 officers, the release added.-PR
