PTV makes new policy for private programmes

Yousaf Beg Mirza has outlined a new policy of PTV for private programmes. At a dinner reception given by United Producers Association (UPA) in honour of MD Yousaf Beg Mirza and Director Marketing Muhammad Malik at a local hotel here on Monday, the new PTV boss outlined a new policy concerning the acquisition of programmes from the private sector.
After the welcome note by UPA Chairman Rashid Khawaja, Yousaf Beg Mirza expressed his views and answered the queries put by most of the 52 percent representatives of the private producers association. He also asked the producers for their recommendations and suggestions for betterment of the television sector.
The producers in general were satisfied over the meeting and expressed hope that the initiatives promised by the PTV MD would certainly help to boost the quality of programmes in particular and the entertainment industry in general.
