Nestle team visits PCSIR

Messrs Nestle Pakistan Limited, Managing Director Ronald Decorvet along with his management team comprising Peter Wuethrich, Head of Technical, and Dr Farhat Jamil, Head, Regulatory Affairs visited PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Lahore.
The main objective of the visit was to identify the areas of mutual interest for joint collaborative R&D, says a press release. The Nestle delegation was warmly welcomed and received by Dr Javed Arshad Mirza, Chairman PCSIR. The chairman PCSIR and director general gave an introductory overview and briefing about PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Lahore.
During the visit to PCSIR laboratories, the delegation was briefed about the R&D activities and facilities available in food & bio-technology research centre (FBRC), calibration laboratories, electrical measurement and testing laboratories (EMTL), Pakistan Institute of Technology for Minerals and Advance Engineering Materials (PITMAEM).
A special visit to biogas village and feed processing units in the premises of PCSIR laboratories were also arranged for the delegation. The Nestle management was pleased and impressed to see the R&D activities of PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Lahore and appreciated the efforts of PCSIR scientists, engineers and technologists in developing various indigenous technologies to uplift the socio-economic status of the country.
