Hayat as PFF chief praised

06 Jun, 2007

Pakistan National Women team Coach Tariq Lutfi has called the four-year (2003-07) reign of PFF President Faisal Saleh Hayat as the best ever he had seen since his induction in PIA as player in '70s.
"I came across several PFF presidents during my career as player/coach of PIA and Pakistan team, but none of them were able to provide ample time to soccer. I had seen the period of eight previous PFF presidents from Khan Abdus Sabur Khan to Mian Muhammad Azhar but none of them worked as hard as Faisal did." said Lutfi, who is currently assisting Iranian AFC Instructor Majid Jalali in AFC C-Certificate Coaching Course, 2007, at Lahore's FIFA Football House. Lutfi said that PFF under leadership of Faisal turned Pakistani soccer into limelight in front of overseas football lovers.
