On Wednesday, the opened in the green zone at 15,136.78 with an upward gap of 75.51 points. It closed at 15,039.49 with a negative change of -21.78 points and percentage change of -0.14. It recorded intra-day high of 15,248.72, which made a new peak, and low of 14,949.50.

The volumes of KSE All Shares and KSE-100 were 464,543,900 and 389,945,000 respectively. BR Commercial Banks Index was the most active sector. BR Cement Index was the second most active sector. It closed with a turnover of 97,950,800 shares. It saw a loss of -12.23 points or -0.68 percent, closing at 1,783.56. BR Oil and Gas Index was the third most active sector. Its turnover was 90,755,100 shares. It closed at 2,217.53 with a positive change of 4.74 points or 0.21 percent.
BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 1,757.34 with a downward change of -21.89 points and percentage change of -1.23. The volume of this sector was 33,293,200 shares. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,555.78 with a negative change of -47.24 points or -2.95 percent. The turnover for this sector was 11,970,500 shares, which was again the lowest among BR Indices.
