Liverpool's Spanish goalkeeper Pepe Reina has signed a new five-year deal keeping him at Anfield until 2012, the English Premier League club said on Thursday.
"We knew we needed to talk with a number of our players and Pepe was one of them," manager Rafael Benitez told the Liverpool Web site (www.liverpoolfc.tv). "He's had two good years with us and because of his age (24) we knew we had to sort out a long contract.
