In Short: Malaysia's movie pirates warn DVD-sniffing

Malaysia's movie pirates are trying to fend off two Labradors trained to sniff out bootlegged DVDs by threatening to attack them with vicious dogs of other breeds, a newspaper reported on June 4.
Government enforcement officers saw several "Beware of dog" signs during a recent raid on suspected pirated DVD storage centres in a Kuala Lumpur suburb, the New Straits Times newspaper reported, citing unidentified officials in the Domestic Trade Ministry.
The tactic surfaced after movie pirates apparently learned that Lucky and Flo have not been trained to defend themselves against more aggressive dogs, the daily reported.
