(CUSTOMS)
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to exempt Vehicle Tracking Systems falling under PCT 8525.2090 imported under various brand names, which comprise an on board computer, GSM radio modem with installed software alongwith standard accessories during the period from 1st October, 2002 to 12th June, 2004 from so much of the customs duty as is in excess of 5% ad valorem.
