Zaheer Ahmed Khan was re-elected chief of Karachi Union of Journalists, Dawn Unit in the annual elections of the unit for 2007-2008, according to results announced by KUJ General Secretary, Javed Asghar Chaudhry, on Wednesday.
Mairaj Fatima was elected unopposed deputy unit chief. Polling was supervised by the KUJ election committee. A total of 51 votes were cast. Zaheer Ahmed bagged 33 and Hasan Mansoor 18.
