Senior leaders of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) have termed the nomination of Shahzad Ali Malik as chairman Bank of Punjab a good omen for the whole banking sector, and said it will further strengthen government and private sector relations. He was awarded businessman of the year award by FPCCI in 1997.
