Gram prices sharply up on grain market

Grams prices were sharply up on the grain market on Saturday as probably the sellers were hoarding the commodity to gain more profit in the month of Ramazan, which is far off, dealers said. On the grams side, gram Australia gained Rs 150 2850-3000, gram garda Punjab followed suit and picked up the same amount at Rs 2600-2725.
gram garda dal Punjab gained Rs 250 to Rs 3200-3300. Yellow peas Canada low type gained Rs 200 to Rs 2500 and better type rose by Rs 250 to Rs 2625, yellow peas dal Canada better type extended the overnight gains, picking up Rs 100 to Rs 2700-and good type was up by Rs 150 2825.
Beetle chana No 1 inferior type was up by Rs 50 to Rs 2850 and better type was up by Rs 75 to Rs 2975, bettle 50x50 plus Rs 225 to Rs 2725-2850, dall beetle followed suit and picked up Rs 200 to Rs 3400, they said. On the cereals side, wheat old and new Bardan was up by Rs 5 to Rs 1195-1210, they said. Other items did not move any side, they said.
