Punjab University's Advance Studies and Research Board which met here on Thursday examined the evaluation reports sent by the examiners and approved the panel of examiners for various scholars.
Addressing the meeting, acting vice-chancellor Punjab University Professor Dr Muhammad Arif Butt stressed the deans to hold meetings with research supervisors and Ph.D scholars with a view to guide them in their research work and to improve their intellectual abilities.
Moreover, Punjab University has issued the date sheet of annual examination of B.Ed (Special Needs) for the session 2005-2006. According to the date sheet, first paper will be held on Tuesday June 26, second on Friday June 29, third on Monday July 2, forth on Thursday July 5, fifth on Monday July 9, sixth on Thursday July 12, seventh on Monday July 16, eighth on Thursday July 19 while ninth Paper will be held on Monday July 23.
The practical examination of paper seven and five will be held on June 26 and 28 of July respectively at Government Training College for the Teachers of Blind, New Garden Town Lahore. Meanwhile, a spokesman of Punjab University said that registration for B A/B Sc annual examinations 2008 will continue up to June 30.
University administration has directed the candidates to register themselves before June 30 as no forms will be entertained after this date. Candidates passing intermediate or equivalent exam in 2006 are eligible for the B A/B Sc examinations 2008.
