Action ordered

The provincial government has asked the authorities concerned to cancel the registration of those private educational institutions which are collecting lump sum three months summer vacations fees from its students.
According to a circular issued by the Punjab Education Department, all the executive district officer (education), DPIs secondary and elementary have been directed to take action against those private educational institutions collecting three months summer vacations fees in lump sum.
This practice is in violation of the Private Institutions Promotion Regulation Rules Ordinance 1984.Under the rules the private educational institutions are liable for action, if it collects three months fees at a time.
