Prices moved up in the grain market on Saturday as increased purchase was seen in process of trading, dealers said. On the grams side gram Garda Punjab was up by Rs 50 to Rs 2575-2700.
Gram dal Punjab was sharply higher by Rs 100 to Rs 3200-3310, beetle chana No 1 rose by Rs 50 to Rs 2850-2900, beetle 50x50 gained Rs 75 to Rs 2725-2825. Dal beetle was up by Rs 50 to Rs 3300-3400, they added. On the cereal side wheat old Bardan and new both up by Rs 10 to Rs 1220-1235, they said.
On the seed side rapeseed Mirpurlane low type shed Rs 25 to Rs 1025 while the good type lost 20 to Rs 1050, they said. Gur inferior type lost Rs 100 to Rs 2000-2800, they said.
