25 Jun, 2007

Rehmatullah Javed, Member FPCCI Managing Committee and Senior Vice Chairman of FPCCI Committee on Human Rights, has said that the incidents of kidnapping and human rights violations are defaming Pakistan in the comity of nations.
Those who are involved in such ill practices must realise that such inhuman incidents are becoming the cause of concern for all those who want to invest in Pakistan, he said in a statement here on Sunday. Pakistan needs complete peace and harmony in society for a consistent growth of economy, Javed added.
He further said that FPCCI Committee on Human Rights in its meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of Sheikh Muhammad Saeed, agreed that FPCCI will address all issues pertaining to human rights.
It was further resolved in the meeting that FPCCI would route its activities through its offices all over Pakistan and establish a networking system to address human rights issues, he said and added that is a framework being prepared in this regard.
