Because of continual low voltage supply, the input cable installed in the substation, which supplies electricity to 'Recorder House', blew up on Sunday, causing serious problems in the functioning of Aaj TV and Business Recorder.
According to details, the input cable installed to supply electricity to Recorder House suddenly blew up at around 5:00 am due to low voltage, as a result of which the units functioning in Recorder House had to face complete power breakdown.
Just after the power breakdown, Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) was informed. However, the officials from the utility visited the site at 3:00 pm, and went back after carrying out survey of the site.
