Indonesian share prices are likely to post moderate gains next week boosted by resource based commodities, dealers said Friday. They said the market would also be supported by strength on Wall Street and East Asian markets, which had a good performance this week.
For the week ending June 22, the Jakarta Stock Exchange composite index rose 31.681 points or 1.5 percent to finish at 2.152.321. Daily average volume totalled 5.67 billion shares valued at 4.73 trillion rupiah (525.26 million dollars).
"The market will rise moderately next week, boosted by good performances of coal miners, crude palm oils, nickel and tin stocks," Lanang Trihardian from Trimegah Securities told AFP.
